Here's our take: plating is more than making food "look pretty."

Plating is an art form that requires an in-depth knowledge of ingredients, flavor pairing, and technical mastery. It's about creating moments to truly pause, pause and appreciate and anticipate what we are consuming. It's not about making a perfect plate; it's about engaging the senses of sight and touch, in addition to taste to create a profoundly memorable meal.

What to expect:

Wandering Epicures is collaborating with Chef Paola Velez to explore the art of plating.

We'll gather around the table for a conversation on the whybehind food styling and to learn techniques that will elevate your plating at home. Paola will guide people through a hands-on creation of an elegant dessert where you can roll up your sleeves and create your own masterpiece featuring edible flowers from Little Wild Things. And of course, Paola will be sharing her insider tips on capturing drool-worthy photos.

What's included:

  • Welcome drink *cheers!*
  • Hands-on and intimate demonstration
  • An elegant dessert that is (almost) too pretty to eat
  • Participants will receive a unique code to receive 20% off your next online order to Little Wild Things
